JC instructs DM to search across the peaks for traces of missing people, the rest of the crew are on the lookout for any bandits or injuns.

DM finds a clue. A chalk drawing printed upon the flat face of rock. It depicts an owl flying over a low pine. Below he pine are images of people bound in chains, being led on by people in a strange headdress. There is an arrow pointing to trail through the peaks.

DM informs the rest of the crew and they decide to follow the arrow, being ready to shoot what appear to be injuns

They find the lone pine tree, similar to the one in the image. Underneath the Pine, there are more drawings on another rock. It depicts a rock next to a small river, and what seems to be a strange ritual involving the prisoners being washed. The arrow this time points towards a creek, where a river just about can be seen in the distance.

Sure enough the rock by the creek, that had appeared in the previous image, had it's own inscription. This time depicting a mountain in the shape of a pyramid. Here the sun is sitting above the peak and the prisoners are being placed on another rock, these strange people are now brandishing axes with severed heads all around. The arrow seems to point directly up, Miliband was able to discern a small but treacherous path to get the crew up the mountain.

The Crew attempt to climb the mountain, but with caution. The men have their pistols at the ready in case of ambush by the injuns or bandits

Up the particular mountain (via a bespokely selected awkward route) the crew find a substantial ledge. Here there is another arrow, simply pointing to the right. A short glance revealed a small cavern. There was blood strewn around the rocks, in an unusual splatter pattern. Random clothes were seemingly left in no discernible order or pattern around the cave entrance, intensifying the heebeejeebees.

The Men get their guns out in preparation for a gun slinging match and enter the cavern ready to shoot immediately.

The cavern was empty. As they muddled around in the dark, one of the crew members tripped a wire. Everyone stood still, fear fixing them to the spot. All of a sudden, a plank of wood fell from above and hung in the air, tethered to the cavern roof with iron chains. On the plank of wood was written the word 'gullible.'
It was clear to the JD Crew that someone had been messing with them. Perhaps it would be wise to return to Miracle and continue the investigation there.
