As befitting a captain of industry, and a citizen of note, Doc Murray begins the construction of a large house in the centre of Lanark. Although built in the clapboard styling of the west, it bears a few distinctly New England features, notably a winding spire with a room at the top. On the ground floor, there are wide and long reception rooms, one of which Doc Murray has filled with precious nicknacks from his travels. A sign outside the house notes that the 'Museum' is open to all who would wish to enter, free of charge.
Professor Reed takes up residence in one of the guest rooms, where he continues his study of the Noqoilpi Relic, an occasional exhibit in the Museum. Doc Murray secrets himself away in the room at the top of the spire, pouring over old tomes once more.
