Early in the misty morning, some time after the break of dawn, the townspeople of Hachita are awoken by the clamour of thundering of hooves approaching the settlement. Realizing the sound is getting louder, several townsfolk take to the street. Without warning a half-dozen group of hooded villains ride into the town, yelping and hollering and firing indiscriminately at the people that had gathered in the square and at the settlement's facades and windows. The barbarian horsemen hurl liqueur bottles with lit tapers toward the town's commercial institutions and shop-fronts before bolting from the place in the opposite direction from which they had arrived.
As suddenly as they had come they are gone.
