Stein's Pass is woefully undefended and located dangerously close to Apache territory. There are some reports of Apache scouts in the area and the settlement has called for backup to help them defend against a possible attack. Protected by the mountains, with some extra manpower, it is likely they can repel any offensive.

Successfully defend Stein's Pass: $1000
