During a short stay in El Paso where Robert and his crew replenish their goods and replace any damaged items a short telegram is sent north to Fairfax Virginia.
Two days later, a man steps onto the platform in Columbus. He is an unassuming man with a neat grey suit, bowler hat and a thick, but well-trimmed beard streaked with grey and white. The man has a small saddlebag with him and nothing else. Waiting on the platform for him is Robert.
”Mr Landa, how are we today?Robert grins and shakes the other man’s hand with some vigour.
”Quite good thank you, although I fear this heat will take some getting used to!” The two laughed, Mr Landa spoke with a strong Austrian accent, but enunciated perfectly.

Mr Hans Landa is a retired detective from Austria who has been residing in Fairfax Virginia for some time, where he has been teaching at various Universities and Military academies. Mr Landa has the Athlete skill and is able to move around almost unseen when he chooses to. He is a man who can blend into a crowd with no effort.
