Rob watched as the last of the bodies were heaped into a mass grave and covered over by the locals. He leaned back in the chair and gently slipped off his boots, his crew were cleaning their weapons and washing themselves of the blood and gore.

Rob sends a series of telegrams and recruits the following men from Columbus and from his pool of contacts in the former Confederate Army.
Bill James - A local Cowboy with a desire to see the world outside his fathers ranch. Trait, Cowboy.
Cut-throat Claire - Claire is another local who worked in her husbands butchers shop, she gained notoriety when she hacked to pieces a bandit attempting to steal some mutton... Trait, Boxer.
Randy - Randy is a suave sheriffs deputy with a talent for shooting, he has left the sheriffs office for a role with the Marshall. Trait, Sharpshooter.
Little John - A local miner who wants more than drunken fights. Trait, Miner.
Big John - Little Johns older brother, who won't let him run off alone. Trait, Miner
Ahmed Arafat - Ahmed is the son of an Ottoman merchant in America who ran away from home. Trait, Horse Whisperer.
Juan 'The Bullet' Ramon - A renowned Mexican gunslinger seeking safety from prosecutors on the souther side of the border. Trait, gunslinger.
Jimmy Wigs - A man who believes himself to be a scion of some weird religion. Nonetheless a fit young chap who can move quietly. Trait, Athlete.
The Marsh 8: The Marsh Eight are a group of officers and men from a family in a fledgling village in the new territory of Colorado. The crew includes a couple of non-family members who are considered kin.
Randy Marsh - The elder of the Marsh's, a bit daft, but well meaning. Trait, Gunslinger.
Stan Marsh - The youngest Marsh, somewhat full of himself, but a good man. Trait, Gunslinger.
Sheller Marsh - The middle Marsh, violent and selfish. Trait, Boxer.
Ericho Cartmenez - An overweight Mexican with a racial superiority complex, little intelligence and a horrific mean streak. Not much use in a fight. Trait, Gunslinger.
Kyle Broflowski - A well meaning and very intelligent Jewish man. Handy with a pistol. Trait, Gunslinger.
Kenny Logins - A poor man with an unintelligible voice and a propensity for getting shot. Trait, Sharpshooter.
The Chef - A massive black man with a booming voice, fondness of women and strength of arm. Trait, Boxer.
Professor Chaos - A former academic who badly conceals his desire for world domination. Most of the other Marsh tolerate his presence because he brings some comic relief to darker situations. Trait, Gunslinger.
That will be 16 new members for $1,600 and will bring the Red Rob crew to 20 men and women.
Robert will purchase 16 Smith and Wesson Model 2 pistols for his men at a cost of $600.
